Clarence and Brenda are parents to three adult young daughters (he’s the minority in their sorority), author, marriage counselor, speaker, and life & relationship coach. They are founders of BLR: Building Lasting Relationships (BLR). Together and individually, they conduct marriage, singles, youth, college students, men’s, parenting, biblical cultural competency, discipleship, overcoming pornography (for men/women/boys & girls) seminars throughout the United States and internationally to help them and organizations take the BLuR out of their struggling relationships, which is a passion for Clarence and Brenda, even after more than thirty years of helping others. Clarence and Brenda are members of FamilyLife’s Weekend To Remember Marriage Conference Speaker Team. They have taught Managing Marriage/Family and Ministry to Pastors/Ministry leaders for the Billy Graham Schools of Evangelism. Clarence assisted the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Administration of Children & Families) with its National African American Healthy Marriage Initiative and the Coalition for Black Marriages & Families. He’s certified in Marriage Education for Professional Marriage Training. Clarence and Brenda have been trained in Preventive Relationship Enhancement Program (PREP). They have also conducted Marriage Retreats and Diversity Training for the military. They help couples overcome pornography and affairs, especially military couples. He is also a Diversity Consultant.
